How does linking work?
Linking lets two people connect their app experience so shared relationship features can work together. In most cases, one person shares a link code and the other enters it in the app. Once linking is confirmed, shared information can begin syncing between the two accounts based on how the feature is set up.
What does “My link code” mean?
“My link code” is your personal invite code for connecting with someone else in Love Their Way. Think of it like a short connection key. You can share it with the person you want to link with, and they can use it to connect to your shared relationship space.
What happens if someone is already saved before linking?
If you already saved notes, milestones, or details before linking, the app may keep some of that information and merge it into the linked experience. Depending on the feature, some entries may stay private to your account while some shared relationship details may sync after linking. If anything looks off after linking, reach out to support before deleting data so we can help you avoid losing information.
How do reminders work?
Reminders are based on the preferences you choose in the app. You can turn reminders on or off, choose the kinds of reminders you want, and set timing for milestones or thoughtful nudges. To receive them, notifications must also be allowed in your phone's system settings.
Does Love Their Way have a paid version?
As of now, Love Their Way is launching without paid subscriptions or premium purchases. If that changes later, the app and these pages will be updated with clear information before any purchase is offered.
How do I remove a person?
If the app offers unlinking or removing a person, that option is usually found in relationship settings or the linked-person section. Removing someone may stop shared syncing, but it may not automatically delete everything already stored on your account. Read any confirmation message carefully before you proceed.
What should I do if syncing seems wrong?
First, make sure both people are signed into the correct account and using the latest version of the app. Then try closing and reopening the app, checking your internet connection, and giving it a moment to refresh. If data still looks missing, duplicated, or delayed, contact support with a short description of what seems wrong and what you expected to see.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account in the app at Settings > Delete account. Deleting your account is intended to remove your account data from the Service, though limited backup copies may persist for a short period as described in the Privacy Policy. Is my information private and safe?
We aim to treat relationship information with care. The app only needs certain information to provide its features, and we try to keep that use limited and practical.
