Love Their Way Terms of Service

Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Love Their Way app, website, and related services provided by Stoddco LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Using the App

Love Their Way is a personal relationship support tool designed to help people remember meaningful details, reflect on care, and act on thoughtful intentions. You may use the app only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws.

Account Responsibility

If account creation is available, you are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You are also responsible for activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been accessed without permission, contact us promptly at stoddco93@gmail.com.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or deceptive activity.
  • Attempt to access another person's account or data without permission.
  • Interfere with the security, stability, or normal operation of the Service.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the Service beyond what applicable law allows.
  • Upload malicious code, spam, or content that infringes another person's rights.
  • Use the app in ways that invade another person's privacy or create safety risks.

User Content

You may be able to create or store content in the app, such as notes, wishes, reminders, milestone details, and Love Jar entries. You keep ownership of the content you create. You give us a limited right to host, store, process, and display that content only as needed to operate and improve the Service for you.

You are responsible for the content you add and for making sure you have the right to share any personal information or material you upload.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, text, graphics, and underlying technology, is owned by Stoddco LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not give you ownership of the Service or any of our trademarks, except for the limited right to use the app as allowed by these Terms.

Subscriptions and Billing

Love Their Way offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions that unlock premium features. Subscription options, pricing, and billing periods are shown in the app before purchase.

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store account settings after purchase. If you restore a purchase, access to premium features will resume for the Apple account associated with that subscription.

Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and refunds are handled by Apple according to Apple’s payment and refund policies.

Changes to the Service

We may add, remove, pause, or change features at any time. We may also update compatibility requirements, pricing, or access rules. We will try to act reasonably, but we do not guarantee that any particular feature will always be available.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk for other users, or used the Service in a harmful or unlawful way. We may also discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, with reasonable notice when practical.

Disclaimers

Love Their Way is offered as a relationship support and organizational tool. It is not therapy, crisis support, legal advice, or a guarantee of relationship outcomes. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted access, complete accuracy, or that the Service will always be free of bugs or errors.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stoddco LLC and its affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising out of or related to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to use the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose or USD $50.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stoddco LLC from claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person's rights.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify you through the app, by email, or by updating the effective date above. By continuing to use the Service after the updated Terms take effect, you agree to the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict of laws rules, except where applicable consumer protection law requires otherwise.

Venue

To the extent permitted by law, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Virginia, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts.
